"The voltage is down...", he switches it off hurriedly in darkness as soon the air conditioner makes a loud banging noise. He's the one who handles remote controls to every other gadget in the house, when home in summer.
"Will it even be working tonight? It's incredibly hot."
"The voltage's down Bape!", he implores for the last time.
The whole neighbourhood has been suffering from voltage drips and everyone's ac has been going on and off constantly. Being an optimist he thinks they're just helping each other out by sharing the limited amount of electricity and switching on their ACs in a relayed manner. Little does he know about the selfish need to their peaceful sleep.
So, he tries to sleep in a room looking at the visible blades of a slow rotating fan, in the dim street light coming through the ventilator when...
...an image of a faceless bald man with a tumour like structure on his forehead comes to his mind.
By the way I think that the general statement, 'voltage drop' is wrong. It should be more like 'drop in the potential energy caused by the voltage', correct me if I'm wrong but I haven't studied physics for a long time.
"My grandfather has a similar looking protrusion on his forehead.", he sleeps off.
